For a new Fortnite Season comes this new short film. My second of six shot last year when hover boards, Polar Peak and the dessert didn’t exist. “Gamer” is a short story I wrote through observing this gaming phenomenon that connects people from around the world. Growing up, I didn’t understand why my brother loved playing games online so much but in writing this film I can say that it gave me an understanding and a better perspective. To my brother, I’m sorry that you were misunderstood growing up and that I contributed to the judgements cast on you when all you were doing was finding a way to exist the only way you knew how. For all the gamers out there, the connection is real. I see you.
